Barbara Schreiner

March 8, 1947 — June 23, 2025

Barbara Ann Schreiner was born in Fort Worth, Texas on March 8, 1947. She grew up in Fort Worth. She met the one and only true love of her life, Will Schreiner, in high school. After she graduated from Poly-Tech, they got married on August 13, 1965.

They began a long, love filled, life together. She loved her husband and children deeply and provided a safe, caring and happy life. Barbara stayed at home with their two children until they started school in Everman. After Laura entered school, Barbara began working odd jobs and contributing to the household income. They moved to Burleson in 1978.

Barbara and Will began B&W Janitorial, cleaning oces in the evening. During the day, Barbara worked with her sister-in-law, Liz, cleaning houses. Barbara and Liz worked for 35 years together, building a best friend bond that couldn't be broken.

Barbara loved life. She loved traveling and going places with the ones she loved. It could be taking quick road trips, going to the casinos, or just finding a place to listen to music. She cherished annual trips with her daughter Laura, her sister Pat and niece,

Sonya. They made lots of memories exploring the mountains, enjoying the scenery and nature.

Her favorite activities were gardening, planting flowers and enjoying her sanctuary in her back yard. She welcomed any and all people into her home. She was the best cook, made delicious Christmas Candy, and hot sauce that was famous among the privileged.

Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Will, her son Byron and her sister Betty Campbell.

She will be missed by her daughter, Laura Schreiner. Her granddaughter Brittany Rogers, husband David and great-grandchildren Casen, Madden and Kinsley of Arlington; grandson, Cade Schreiner and wife Allison of Tennessee; her three sisters, Pat, Carran and Penny. Also, many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends will cherish her memory.

"Mothers hold their children's hands for a while, but their hearts forever"
