Anita "Hargrove" Elhers

Anita Hargrove Ehlers, 71, passed away June 19, 2013, at home. Service: 10:00 AM, Monday, June 24, 2013 at Shepherds Valley Cowboy Church 2915 S.IH 35W Burleson, 76028. Interment: 3:00 PM at Prairie Hill Cemetery in Prairie Hill, Tx. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Anita was born April 19, 1942 in Waco to Luther Henry and Alma Bertha Sharp Hargrove. She was a member of the National Association of Riding Clubs, Sheriff's Posses, Joshua Saddle Club, and Ramblers Drill Team. Anita attended Shepard Valley Cowboy Church. She is retired from Johns-Manville after 27 years. She was preceded in death by: parents; first husband, Larry Bowers; grandson, Mason Jarvis. Survivors: husband, Robert "Bob" Ehlers of Joshua; daughters, Kim Chenault and husband Steve of Burleson, Lori Bowers of Joshua, Teri Bowers of Fort Worth, Sunny Hurt and husband Jason of Cleburne; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
