Ada Fae Senter

Ada Fae Senter, 99, of Dallas, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017. Visitation: 1 to 5 PM, Friday, March 3, 2017, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Graveside Service: 1PM, Saturday, March 4, 2017, Crowley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to First Baptist Church of Burleson or a charity of your choice. Ada was born December 13, 1917 in Saint Jo, to James and Lillie (Elliott) Hillery. Survivors: son, Kelly Senter and wife, Pam of Houston; daughter, Beth Lavercombe and husband, Randy of Dallas; grandchildren, JoAnn Gracey and husband, Bob of Cleburne, Christine DelliCarpini and husband, Jonathan of Pittsburgh, PA; Scott Lavercombe of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Landyn; extended family and friends. Ada lived most of her life in the Burleson/Crowley area. She was a loving wife to Roswell (Tinker) and a wonderful homemaker. Her cooking talents were lauded by family & friends -- she fried chicken perfectly most every Sunday and could make the best banana pudding anyone ever tasted! Ada loved inviting family & friends to her home for a game of dominoes and always had something delicious to eat for everyone. She was also a talented seamstress, and volunteered tirelessly at the school and First Baptist Church in the Burleson community. We will miss her terribly, but her journey is complete & she is Home! We are comforted in knowing that although she is absent from the body, she is present with the Lord. This is a time of rejoicing for her, and for family & friends to celebrate her life.
